Teachers and Students from Shandong University of Science and Technology Came to Xinhai Mining to Visit and Practice

At the end of 2020, 84 teachers and students from the School of Chemical Engineering of Shandong University of Science and Technology came to Xinhai Mining for a 3-day visit and practice. Mr. Zhang Yunlong, chairman of Xinhai Mining EPC., and various departments warmly received the teachers and students and arranged a rich and reasonable internship program for them.

The internship program covered relevant theoretical knowledge courses on e-commerce, common mineral processing processes, innovative processes, processing tests and equipment, and design, mine automation control, main mechanical products production and processing assembly process, workshop safety, etc., so that students had a more comprehensive understanding of Xinhai mining and related processing knowledge. At the same time, students were arranged to visit the research institute, design institute and workshops to lead them to understand the meaning and connotation of Xinha’s “Turn-key Solution for Mineral Processing Plant（EPC+M+O）”.

Over the past twenty years since its establishment, Xinhai Mining has always regarded talent cultivation as an important part in the development of the enterprise, attached importance to talent reserve and cultivation, and regarded how to attract, select and cultivate talents as an important criterion in human resource management. In the process of school-enterprise cooperation, Xinhai Mining and Shandong University of Science and Technology actively communicate and constantly expand new ideas. In 2018, the School of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering of Shandong University of Science and Technology and Xinhai Mining signed a contract to jointly build the “Shandong University of Science and Technology College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Base”, and the chairman of Xinhai Mining, Mr. Zhang Yunlong, was also hired as the part-time professor of Shandong University of Science and Technology to realize the complementary advantages and resource utilization of both schools and enterprises.

The students gained a lot in the short time. The forward-looking development ideas, innovative technical thinking, professional service attitude and the warm reception of various departments of Xinhai Mining left a deep impression on the teachers and students of Shandong University of Science and Technology, and laid a good foundation for the future cooperation between Xinhai Mining and Shandong University of Science and Technology. In the future, Xinhai Mining will continue to promote the development of Xinhai Mining Equipment talents and expand the road of innovation and entrepreneurship development in universities through the way of school-enterprise cooperation.
