Copper ore refers to the mineral aggregate with a certain content of copper ore and can be recycled at the present stage. In general, copper ore is occurred in ore inside as sulfide, and associated with a certain amount of lead and zinc ore. Crushing-grinding-flotation is the most common copper ore dressing process. Taking Xinhai copper-lead-zinc ore dressing process as the example, we will briefly introduce copper ore dressing process.
Xinhai is a professional mine designer and mineral processing equipment manufacturer in China, who undertook many copper mine design project in most provinces. In the copper ore dressing process, the raw ore is crushed by jaw crusher, the crushing material is divided into three kinds of products by the vibrating screen. The undersize material is directly sent to the grinding bin, oversize product and medium grade product are sent to cone crusher, then the crushing product of cone crusher return to screening operations. The crushing materials of grinding bin is sent to the closed-circuit process that is basically composed of ball mill and hydrocyclone. After grinding and classifying operation, the overflow of hydrocyclone enters into copper-lead bulk flotation process, then the copper and lead stay in foam products, and zinc ore occurs in the underflow as a result of the influence of inhibitors. Flotation foam is sent to two-stage grinding operation for regrinding, then the materials is sent to flotation process for copper-lead separation. After the thickening and filtering of copper concentrate and lead concentrate, the final concentrate is obtained. Besides, some underflow of bulk flotation is sent to zinc flotation separation through the dosing mixing. After the thickening and filtering of flotation foam, zinc concentrate is got finally, while the underflow is directly transported to the tailings pond.
Relying on repeated practice and rigorous attitude, Xinhai greatly adjusts and improves its copper ore dressing process, which can deal with all kinds of copper ores, and won wide recognition from customers.
